Boom, Boom, Boom!

I recently got this invite, but had to pass since I am still nursing our barely one-month-old baby :D

Vince Ascalon, the one handling the PR for this event, sent me an e-mail of the product that was launched...

Regular visitors/readers of my blog should know by now that I love anything "pink." The color and aesthetics alone are enough to entice me to check out this memorex miniMove portable boombox. This will have to wait until I have more free time on my hands to hit the malls in Makati—I live in the northern part of Metro Manila. The launch was held at the Avant store in Greenbelt 4, you can check it out there. Price: P4,500.

***Oopsy, just found out that there's an Avant in TriNoma. ;P

For those who are curious, these are the features I found online:

* plays and charges your iPod devices with docking capability

* FM Radio

* two power options via AC or 4 x AA batteries when you are on the go

* equaliser presets

* backlit LCD display

* connect non-docking iPod devices and other MP3 players via line-in jack

Connectivity

* 30-pin dock connector

* line-in jack

* headphone jack

1 year warranty

* register online via www.imation-southasia.com

* compatible iPod touch, iPod classic, iPod nano (3rd gen), iPod naon (2nd gen), iPod video (5th gen), iPod nano (1st gen), iPod photo, iPod (4th gen) and iPod mini

I asked Vince if they gave away this boombox. They didn't, but they gave away some cubic speakers. Darn!

But, hey, another store is having a special promo on their Skull Candy products. Don't forget to check out their cool headphones, too!

Pardon the colors of the photo above. I can't seem to fix it :(

Another piece of good news, they're giving away one of their headphones, too! Visit http://republ1c.com/contest/ to join. Good luck! ;)
