WPO Postponed

I had a great time, despite the rainy weather, last Saturday. Watched the World Pyrolympics Show with my family and parents at The Fort grounds.

Unfortunately, the succeeding shows have been postponed. I got an e-mail from the people behind the event (Eventscape):

Dear Friends,

The Executive Committee of the World Pyro Olympics (WPO) 09 announces the RESCHEDULING of the WPO originally set on November 28, December 5, 12 and 19, at theBonifacio Global City to a later date early next year.

The incessant rains and flooding during the past months have rendered the firing area almost unfit for pyrotechnics launchings which have certain international standards to observe. The participating countries have thus agreed to postpone the event

With that at hand, we would like to apologize to you, our valued partner for this inconvenience. Please advise us should you want to schedule a meeting to further discuss this matter.

I will definitely keep you posted with WPO. Don't even think twice about watching (next year), it's really worth it. Two country representatives per night, with 30 minutes of non-stop fireworks display per country. Sulit! :)
